PROVIDENCE, RI, November 22, 2024 – Partridge Snow & Hahn (PSH) Senior Counsel James H. Hahn was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Rhode Island Mortgage Bankers Association (RIMBA) for nearly 40 years of service. Hahn is a founding member of RIMBA and has served in a number of leadership roles, most recently as a board director and corporate secretary. Hahn was honored on November 21st at the Annual RIMBA Dinner and Installation of Officers.
Mr. Hahn is a founding partner of PSH and the former chair of the firm’s corporate practice. He advises regulated and unregulated businesses in connection with their general corporate matters, corporate finance and structuring, stock and asset acquisition and sale transactions, business financings, and private placements. He provides counsel on regulatory and licensing concerns, compliance matters, general contract matters, employment relationships, franchising and licensing of intellectual property, and integration of business ownership and succession planning.
Mr. Hahn advises clients regarding shareholder agreements, insurance arrangements, business valuations, deferred compensation, retirement benefits and related issues. His clients include financial institutions, credit unions, hospitals, and privately-held manufacturers, distribution companies and service organizations, including medical device manufacturers and independent power producers.
With deep ties in the local community, Mr. Hahn has served in leadership positions with the Rhode Island Bar Association, Mortgage Bankers Association of America, Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, In-Sight, and Brown Club of Rhode Island, among others.
RIMBA promotes the mortgage banking industry and encourages sound and ethical business practices within the industry. It achieves this by sponsoring meetings, presenting education seminars, and working with legislators in reviewing proposed legislation.
