In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Partridge Snow & Hahn proudly supports RI Latino Dollars for Scholars, Inc. (LADO) in their efforts to increase Latino presence at the post-secondary education level.
Founded in 1993, LADO is a private nonprofit organization whose mission is to expand higher education for Latino students living in Rhode Island by partnering with the private sector and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, LADO has presented over $400,000 in scholarships to Rhode Island Latino students who have successfully enrolled in post-secondary institutions. Because the organization is entirely volunteer based, every dollar donated to the organization directly funds the scholarships for the students.
With an alumni base of over 800 Latino leaders, LADO has provided scholarships to latino students attending a long list of colleges and universities including Bryant University, Brown University, Harvard University, Providence College and University of Rhode Island.
