PROVIDENCE, RI, November 18, 2024 – Partridge Snow & Hahn (PSH), a full-service business law and litigation firm, announces that Partner Christian F. Capizzo will moderate the panel, “Development Updates – Lessons Learned,” at the 5th annual Environmental Business Council of New England’s (EBCNE) Rhode Island Offshore Wind Conference on November 22, 2024. Capizzo served on EBC Conference Planning Team for this conference and has served on the EBC RI Leadership Team since 2016.
With over 20 years of experience, Capizzo concentrates his practice in the areas of environmental and energy law, land use and public sector/governmental services. He handles a diverse range of complex environmental and energy matters including enforcement, regulatory and compliance issues, renewable energy projects including large scale solar and offshore wind projects, real estate development, environmental remediation including brownfields, coastal/waterfront violations, permitting and waterfront property rights. Capizzo represents clients before the Coastal Resources Management Council, the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management, the Rhode Island Public Utilities Commission, the Rhode Island Energy Facility Siting Board, as well as before the zoning boards, planning boards and conservation commissions in towns and municipalities across New England.
Capizzo also represents landowners and project developers in real estate transactions, renewable energy development deals, and financing transactions associated with these projects. He plays an integral role evaluating and mitigating environmental risks relating to development projects and business transactions, as well as providing key strategy on renewable energy projects.
The EBCNE, a nonprofit organization, was established in 1990 by environmental and energy company executives who began meeting on a regular basis to exchange ideas and share experiences. The EBC was the first organization in the United States established to support and foster the development of the environmental industry. Its goal is to enhance business and job growth of both established and emerging environmental and energy businesses.
