Stein have been named to the list of  “2024 Ones to Watch – Industry Leaders” by New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ). This annual spotlight showcases accomplishments, challenges, advice, and other key insights from New England’s top commercial real estate (CRE) industry leaders. Amy Oakley’s practice focuses on finance, CRE and tax credit finance. Her experience is unique in that she has acted as counsel on all sides of development projects, representing developers, lenders, bridge lenders, investors and syndicators so she understands well each party’s goals and how to lead effectively and efficiently to get the deal closed. Over her career, Amy has represented more than 20 financial institutions in all areas of commercial finance, with special emphasis on non-recourse and limited recourse debt, real estate and construction financing, asset-based financing, bridge and mezzanine financing and multi-lender financing.

Jay Peabody is PSH’s Co-Managing Partner. As a transactional lawyer with broad corporate experience, he represents sponsors, operators and investors in all aspects of CRE. Acting as outside general counsel, Jay represents many privately-held businesses in diverse industries, advising on transactions, shareholder agreements, buy-sell agreements, business formation, structure and strategic planning. He also facilitates complex financings of office, industrial, retail, and large-scale multi-use lifestyle developments on behalf of lenders.

Russell Stein advises businesses on mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters, and the intricacies of the U.S. federal and state tax regulations. He also advises nonprofit charities and charitable foundations on federal tax regulations and state charitable regulations as well as general business matters. Russell has extensive experience counseling businesses on business and tax matters relating to corporate mergers and acquisitions, real estate development and investment fund structuring, tax planning, business restructurings, partnership taxation and Opportunity Zone Investments. Russell has considerable experience in drafting partnership agreements, reviewing and negotiating merger agreements, and advising companies on tax structuring regarding international holdings.

Ideal candidates have held a leadership role and have made significant contributions to their company in the past year.
